The BYD Battery Box
The Battery Box products rely on the cutting-edge BYD Iron-Phosphate battery for streamlined energy storage. The B-Box 2.5-V2 is a lightweight wall mounted design which has been specially developed for use in small areas that require energy back-up.
Not only the batteries used on the BYD double-decker E-Bus in London, but all batteries for the B-BOX are produced by the same fully automated battery production line.
The B-BOX 2.5-V2, with BYD's Iron-Phosphate battery offers high reliability, high life-cycle and high-temperature performance, as well as being environmentally friendly.
The B-BOX2.5-V2 requires three components to work:
- the battery;
- the battery management unit (BMU); and
- a wall bracket or rack.
The battery provides energy to load, the BMU is the communication centre, the bracket is for mounting to the wall or Rack is for floor mounting.
